Heli Fly in at Duxford
Question for members here.
Obviously decade or so ago we used to have Helitech at Duxford and had umpteen helos parked along the far side of the runway. Well myself and a friend of mine who has a helo in the UK are keen to try and put together the Great UK Helicopter Fly In. We did one recently called the Great UK 500 Fly In and had 30 Hughes/MD500s turn up so that got us thinking about maybe doing something bigger.
To me Duxford will always be the best place to hold it as I have some awesome memories of Helitech before they destroyed it by taking it into downtown London but thats a whole different kettle of fish.
Anyone here know if they would allow us to do it at Duxford ?? Looking at at leasr 100-150 helos of all types.
