Historically both AW and eurocopter have reneged on work share of machines bought by the uk , the sar 189 and the puma update. so I wouldn't bet my mortgage on anything those European companies say.
Like wise the abortion of the super chinook with glass cockpit was amassive money pit.
Keep it simple go and buy the black hawk don't add any gizmos and have a working new helicopter fleet. Let the eyetalins and froggys sort out their new machines then look again in 15, 20 years time.. drops mike leaves chat.....

It seems European Manufacturers deliver a majority of civil helicopters, while Sikorsky & Bell are more focused on (US) defense requirements.
