Azerbaijan precision flying

Tip to presenters if the cameraman ducks, so should you!

I wonder if the female reporter in the first clip realises how close she came to losing her head on the first departure.

The port weapons pylon passes behind her, just. However she definitely appears to be under the rotor disk!
The last thing to go through her mind may be the leading edge next time 🙀

Having been up close to a few MI35/24s on the ground, and seen how large they are, I suspect it was not as close as it might appear.

A bit like this one. You'll need to click on the "Watch on Youtube" link in the "screen".

Some editing trickery here. Having flown in a Mi-35 (eek, 31 years ago!), it's a good deal larger than the video makes it look - and you would not be able to nonchalantly stand that close, given the down draft of a helicopter with 11500kg gross weight.
