Bell 505 Experience

Hi, does anyone have experience on the Bell 505 from an operator and maintenance perspective? I'm looking at EC120's and Bell 505's. I'm finding it hard to find a good EC120 that doesn't have some type of major maintenance item coming up such as 15yr engine, 144 month inspection, 24 yr MGB or TGB, etc. I'm private pilot so I expect most of the time I will time out on the calendar for these major items vs the hours. Seems the only components that have calendar life on the Bell 505 are the TT straps every 4 yrs, otherwise its hours on everything else. Anyone know if there is also the 15yr engine inspection on the Bell 505 as is on the EC120? Basically same engine.

It would be nice if this were discussed publicly and not privately.

Weird

Why can’t folks post openly on 505 and 120 experiences? Seems unusual for pprune threads… ????
