Morbid Question
The answers are in CAP 701, which is in the office, so you'll have to take what I can give you from memory:-
Light helicopters (certified): 1 per 53,000 hrs
Light aircraft (certified): 1 per 72,000 hrs
Microlights: 1 per 50,000 hrs
Gliders: 1 per 47,000 hrs
Homebuilts: 1 per 35,000 hrs (not absolutely certain of this figure)
Gyroplanes: 1 per 8,000 hrs.
Hope this helps,
G
