EASA Medical Revalidation/Renewal

Morning Guys,

In EASA land, can an AME revalidate/renew your medical if his AME certificate is issued from a different EASA state to your licence?

The only thing I can find to support the above is a FAQ answer supporting it on the EASA website. But if someone could supply anything more concrete that would be great!

Best,

Yes.

Just be aware that-depending on the country your AME is located and registered-your medical data might be sent to your CAA and to the AMEs CAA...

I am holding an IAA ATPL, but am renewing my medical in Germany with a German LBA AME, as this is more convenient for me..
