Yet another adhesive/bonding related problem

I was watching the recent International Rotorcraft Safety Conference videos and during the Bell maintenance/safety brief (Day 2 morning) this particular service bulletin was highlighted. It would appear to be yet another composite bonding problem. It seems that every manufacturer has had, or will have, a problem of this sort sooner or later, on one or more components. I'm starting to like plain old metal fasteners more and more!

There were a few other very interesting Bell discussions, including severed main rotor masts, loose Jesus nuts on 505's (not kidding!), spun swash plate bearings on 505's, collective pitch transducer failures on 505's, and improperly swaged blade bolts on 429's. It all made me feel much better about my Robinson ownership

Day 2 afternoon has the Airbus and Robinson chats. Haven't got to those yet.
