B206 IIMC New York 21st October 2020 [N716VL]

Just came across this and I find it quite interesting to dissect (mainly due to the length of time the pilot apparently spent IIMC and in contact with the controller).


I don't have any more info than what's in the video but considering there's a photo of the landing site I hope the pilot was able to walk away from this one. By the old saying I think we can consider it a good landing in that case.

P.s. It's obvious some of the transcript isn't accurate, but the video creator isn't a native english speaker so that's common in VASAviation's videos.

Edit: I'm fairly sure the correct transcript at 3:04 is "I am, uhh the ship isn't" (in response to the question "Are you IFR capable?").
