History question 2002...

So was that Crab and his trusty S61 that had to fly over and pick up the leftovers starting at the 6:30 mark....

I assume you are fishing for some kind of response from Crab, although I'm not sure why? It's a Bristow Super Puma (AS332L) being flown by some familiar faces. There is a brief shot of an RN Sea King too..

Just curious on the project. Nothing more. Ran across the video and thought maybe there might be some interesting stories to go with the canned video narrative.

The S61 is Coastguard Rescue Whiskey Bravo from Portland. It got well goffered in the process, as did the winch man and winch op, who just managed to get his head in the cabin before the wave arrived, the cabin got a bit wet though
As 212man said, a Bristow Super Puma was used for the salvage operation with some old friends in the video.
