It was indeed G-LLIZ, one of Hields’.

As as far as I know single pilot walked away unharmed. Should have kept his hands on the controls...

Well it is a rumour network so let's see who comes up with the most imaginative story of why a Competent pilot should crash a nice Machine in such a way -And not wait for the Helimed to arrive -not open to Robinson Bashers who hate them with a vegance .....

I think the lack of media coverage a big clue as to why the pilot disappeared. All very clandestine. I could say more, but you know how it is.

Is the capital ‘C’ in competent a clue? I see no previous reference to the pilot that trashed the aircraft as been competent?

Obviously the pilot was whisked away by their security team and Boris immediately agreed a shut down on any media reporting, as requested by Buckingham Palace .... That’s the second time he’s managed a shut down recently!

but nobody wants to play the game so while somebody saw it -nobody knows who it was and the perpetrator of thrashing an innocent R44 to death is still at large -the clue has been given that perhaps he should have kept his hands on the Controls and the Accident Investigation will be an interesting read -so let's start with the suggestion he was trying to impress a partner and his hands slipped off the controls -or perhaps the pilot has more money than most of us who fly Robinsons and can just dip into petty cash to avoid an insurance claim as there was no accident-the truth is out there ....

Hands off the controls in a Robinson? Gulp!!! I used to feel nervous taking my hand off the collective, let alone the cyclic.

-you are not playing the game in adding your view on what the Pilot did wrong given the available information as it's now an accident that never happened cos while there is a hurt Robinson the Pilot walked away -it's a rumour network so one has to do better and suggest a plausible rumour on the events .........

Just a question,, If it was a car crash, leaving the scene is an offence and usually done because the driver is pissed or not insured etc,, what are the rules for aviation regarding legging it ??
