Columbia Helicopters agree a deal after the failed Bristow offer

I wouldn't say the Bristow offer was a fail for Columbia, they made a cool $20M out of it, no?

Probably not, my guess is that $20M would have been quickly swallowed up by Lawyers claiming due diligence, fleet inspection valuations and any other fee they can think of to tack on to a potential deal like that.

Plus the kickback bonuses for the Bristow Executives that formed part of deal regardless if it went through......
