Coastguard Rescues resulting from illegal immigration attempts.
Before I get shot down in flames there is not a racist bone in my body.
The title is a question about how resources have been affected over the last few years by the increase in rescues at sea of people fleeing in search of better life? It seems to be a daily news story across Europe and seems to suck resources that years ago would be dealing with helping local fisherman or others that had got into difficulties at sea.
Has there been more investment in the Coastguard to help with this additional work load from what it was say 7-10 years ago?
