Phil Evans

I have just read in the Daily Mail with great sadness at the passing of Phil Evans in a diving accident in Spain. I would dearly love someone to tell me that it isn’t so but his picture is there as well. Phil was an AAC Lynx Pilot in the early 80’s and a very good friend, my thoughts go out to Linda and the children. We lost touch years ago when Phil left the army for the North Sea. I’d be indebted to know of funeral arrangements and of course an address by PM if anybody has one.

We began flying with Phil when CHC and Bond merged in early 2000s. What a sad piece of news. Phil was a calm careful man. Just a horrible outcome.

What a terrible shame, Phil was a lovely man. I remember him as a quiet and gentle man. I also remember him running me ragged around a squash court several times. I don't think he even broke into a sweat. This is very sad. Steve if you get in touch with Linda please give her my best wishes.
