A man has been killed in a helicopter crash in Central Australia.

Northern Territory Police say a second person is in a Alice Springs hospital with critical injuries.

The crash occurred at about 9am this morning, about 125 kilometres north east of Alice Springs.

Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services press release. Basically the same as the quote above; so far no news source seems to tell us anything further.
