She describes `pulling up' in the video as the machine was `nose-diving.'
He partner says he told her to do that several times `no, too much' etc.
So maybe she was pulling back on the cyclic - sounds they may have had only a small degree of forward speed.
Amazing she didn't grab a huge handful, and take the boom off.
She wouldn't have known what that handbrake thing on the left would have done - and if she'd pull up on that would have been in a world of yawing pain no doubt.
Probably wouldn't have had any idea of how to use the pedals either.
I wonder if the PIC had dumped a bit of collective before he passed out.
Sounds like a low-forward speed semi-autorotation into the drink - purely by chance.
Very, very lucky.
