Max Number of Type Ratings

Does anyone know please if there is any limit under EASA as to the number of type ratings you can hold? I am trying to find something under Part FCL without success.

You can hold as many type ratings as you want, but you can only be current on(I think) 2 or 3 and that also depends on whether they are classed as simple(eg, R22) or complex(eg AW139) types

I recall some derogation about similar types as well, 135/145 for example.
