Oryx crash at Roodewal
I ve seen a video on Facebook, which I canˋt link from a high flare and subsequent high rate of decent landing...
Luckily only one ankle injury, everybody else walked away

Air Force spokesperson Colonel Eugene Motati told the broadcaster that they were thankful that no one had lost their life during the incident.
"It could have been worse if it was not correctly handled," he said.
An eyewitness told Netwerk24 the chopper was coming in to drop off troops when it suddenly hit the ground.

And it apparently had a crew of seven, where did they all fit into that cockpit
Dlamini said the crew consisted of a pilot, a co-pilot, a flight engineer, and four aircraft technicians and mechanics.
Do theirs have anticipators? If not it looks like many other Puma crashes..........

I’ve time on the Puma HC1, AS330, AS332C, AS332L and AS332L1. They are all wonderful aircraft and have individual characters that have to be understood and respected. Sadly, this incident indicates to me a lack of experience or training. Happily, they all walked away.
