Bell parts

Have any other Bell owners whose a/c are not maintained by a Bell CSF had any problems sourcing new Bell parts through their maintenance company? It seems that there is a new company policy......

yes, bell have now decided that they will only sell parts to either a CSF or the aircraft owners. they want to put a rego against every part that goes out, which is making it hard to carry your own spares etc. just more paperwork and crap to get the same parts that we always used to buy....

Indeed SuperF, but I think the master plan is a bit more Machiavellian than that. They want us to use the CSFs for our maintenance and parts are a big stick with which to encourage us...

Doesn't seem to apply when buying parts here in Australia, I'm not working for a CSF, and have never been asked for rego or owner when buying through the suppliers here.
