Ian Stockley RIP

I heard the sad news today that my old friend and fellow aviator passed away after a long illness. His curly mop, cheery smile and the endless supply of encouraging anecdotes will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with his loved ones who will miss him dearly.

Aye

G.

Thanks Goeffers, that’s sad. I knew him in our Bristow days.

Was this Ian Shockley who had started out in the oil industry as a Lab Tech with OXY on Flotta and then took a ‘cadetship’ with Bristow’s’ and moved on CHC in Holland?

I worked with Ian for several years both at KLM and with Schreiner in Italy and Holland. This is Ian with our Dutch engineer Claudio next to NH- PZW, the S76B we flew together for over a year with AGIP. My condolences to his family. RIP mate.
