WAPOL Fleet Renewal

Sounds like the coppers in the west will get some new machines soon.

Hopefully the introduction goes better than the Dauphin.

Anyone got any inside news on the type?

Yeah right, and who's going to pay for it, Tasmania? WA is in debt to the tune of billions of dollars because most of its GST receipts go to Tasmania. The WA coppers would be lucky to be able to afford to run a GoPro drone let alone an R44.

A couple of AS350s or B407s would provide 99% of the capability that is actually used by most Police operations for a fraction of the costs. However, that would reduce the Superintendent's empire!
