Alex Grouchy RIP
Had the very sad news today, that a good friend of mine has passed away.
Alex flew for St Lucia Helicopters for many years, and was always a very kind and thoughtful person. Rest in peace mate.

Gutted.
Alex taught me to fly the 350 and a damn fine job he did. More than that though, he mentored me (including making perfectly clear when I'd stuffed up and needed to pull my socks up, but always in private) and helped whenever and however he could. He'd literally give you the shirt off his back. Totally free of any bullshine, generous and considerate to a fault, a real friend. The world is a lesser place.
