Calling South African rotorheads

I'm of to SA at the end of the month and I fancy taking a helicopter trip. Just something simple like a sightseeing tour. I'll be in the southern Limpopo (just into northern Mpumalanga) area.

Are there any recommendations as to who to approach, or do any of you nice peeps on here operate an aircraft where you'd be willing to take my wife and I on a little jaunt?

Try Mark Jackson at Leading Edge Aviation in Nelspruit, or ask him to refer you to Mike Pingo

You might be a bit late (as was I with my reply) but the guys at NAC and Henley at Rand airport usually have a mountain flying trip to the drakensberg around this time of year. Several r44s, 206, etc.

Their Facebook page makes me think it happened it July, although when I was there in august a year ago they went one weekend whilst I was there.

Drop Charmaine a line. [email protected]
