Unfortunate Skindiver??

I was told about an incident in America(where-else) in which a Helicopter apparantly scooped up a skin diver whilst using some sort of water collection system, then dropped him along with the water on some sort of conflagration in a wood/ forest!

Is it true? Is it possible?

I have scanned as many paper/news reports as possible but read nor heard anything about this .
