I last saw him in Dubai in 2004, but I am on LinkedIn with him. Last contact we had he was operating a specialist tour company from Dubai.

If you have a Linkedin account you should be able to contact Dave through that. The last I heard he was trying to start up an offbeat tour company based in UAE specialising in tours in Afghanistan, Iraq and a number of other rather dodgy countries. I believe he found it rather hard going and I don't know if he's still trying.
