Helicopter infringes Old Warden Reds TRA

At Old Warden yesterday - Reds display interrupted big style by a heli intruder well within the TRA.

The display season has started. As 'Red 10' stated over the PA, 'please check NOTAMS'.

Past fines have been hefty.

'Take out your wallet and repeat after me, 'help yourself'.

Was there too, must have lost a good 2 or 3 passes by the Reds. 10 was pretty peeved, as he said wasn't the start they'd hoped for the display season. Was a great display though and going so well. Wonder if LTN ATC picked up their reg?

If it was such an intrusion....surely some Spotter logged the Registration for his Hobby Book!

Isn't there some basic flight rule where there is a gathering of 1000 people or more you're not to fly within 1000mtrs (3300ft). Pretty sure he broke that one too.

I was at Old Warden on Sunday. I immediately managed to pick it up on FR24.
