Journey to Africa

One of our senior instructors is planning a trip to South Africa and return from the end of July to September this year. Is there any pilot or navigator out there that would like to share the experience ?
Please would they contact Peter Wilson at Helicopter Services Ltd Wycombe Air Park.

I just flew a Super Puma from Gabon to Poland, lots of headaches with permits and bureaucracy! Most of Africa you'll have to hire a handler to get things sorted when you land, and they charge some pretty ridiculous prices. Everyone wants USD. Don't go on walkabout in Cotonou in the wee hours, we got rolled by some cops....
