Question Market Share anyone?

Hi all,

Are any of you guys privy to any information regarding Market Share? As in say for the light turbine singles market (AS350/B407), light twin market (EC135, AW109), medium twin market (76, 139, 175) penetration worldwide and in Asia Pacific? Which helicopters have been selling the most in the last year or two? Any ideas?
There are market reports available out there but I would rather avoid the exorbitant price tag they are asking! $2,500+

Thanks!

most national authorities have on line regisrtry searches, might take a few hours to pull it all together, worth it rather then spending money

also see http://www.rotorspot.nl/product.php

filthymutt,

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) is a useful site, offering quarterly delivery stats. They have yet to update their 2015 numbers with Finmeccanica Helicopters' 4th quarter shipments, but for the first nine months of the year the global delivery stats were as follows:

Singles - civil & military:
AS350/H125.....64
AW119.............10
Bell 206L...........9
Bell 407...........71
EC130/H130.....47

Light twins - civil & military:
AS355 NP...........3
AW109.............10
Bell 429............30
EC135/H135......19
EC145/H145......41

Mediums - civil & military:
AS365................5
AW139.............51
AW189...............6
Bell 412.............9
H155/EC155.......4
H175.................1
S-76D..............13

Using a different, 3rd party data source (which may therefore use a different definition for deliveries, i.e. ex-OEM vs. ex-completion house), the full year 2015 delivery numbers for Asia were as follows:

Singles - civil & military:
AS350/H125.....30
AW119..............4
Bell 407...........12
EC130/H130.....17

Light twins - civil & military:
AW109..............9
AW169..............3
Bell 429.............4
EC135/H135.......8
EC145/H145.......6

Mediums - civil & military:
AS365................4
AW139.............25
Bell 412............12
H155/EC155.......3
S-76D..............19

Ian, Strange that site doesn't list MD's sales Only shows as N/A for some reason. But I went on MD's website and counted orders for myself at 530F x 5, 520N x 1, 500E x 1 and deliveries 530F x 7, 520N x 1 and 520E x 1. Go figure why they couldn't or wouldn't do that.
