Helicopter crash Jordan February 1977
This is a long shot but I'm hoping that someone on this forum may be able to help. My nearest neighbour happens to be the son of the pilot who was flying a helicopter from Tafila to Amman Marka airbase with Queen Alia of Jordan on board on 9 February 1977. Very sadly the aircraft crashed and all aboard lost their lives.
It seems that very little is known about this accident. Does anyone happen to know whether there was a formal investigation and if so whether a report of any kind was ever published? Or does anyone know about the circumstances? There seems to be hardly anything on the internet, which is surprising for what must have been a high-profile crash.
