Hour Building Share?
Hello everyone, happy new year!
I'm currently in the process of hourbuilding toward my CPL, and wanted to find out if anyone knows of any single engine machine shares going in the Midlands area. Prefer piston to keep costs down.
I'm based in South Staffordshire, ideal location would be within an hours drive, once hourbuilding is done I would like the option to sell my share on (hoping to have CPL completed mid 2016).

You may find that difficult. I am in S Derbyshire and was trying for ages to find somebody to buy a share in my R22 and burn some excess hours off. I was unsuccessful, and part exchanged it for an older machine with not too many hours left on it. It is quite hard to keep the hours and years in balance if you are a typical private owner. I keep my ear to the ground, but don't know of any shares around in the Midlands that would suit you. Your best bet would be to do a block hours deal with one of the (few) commercial operators around in the area.

Hi Muffin
Thanks for your post. I've already paid for some blocks upfront, which has got the cost of a 22 around the 200-220 mark for SFH, I was hoping that with an investment (which I could recoupe on resale), I might be able to drive this down to around the 140-150 mark.
Should you find yourself with "excess" hours you need to burn on your 22, please drop me a PM.
