Mike Tideswell

My good friend Mike Tideswell died on Christmas eve.

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis killed him...hastened by a chest infection in the last few days.

I first met Mike when we worked for Clyde Helicopters at the SECC in Glasgow, and was lucky enough to work with him there, and at Bond and PDG.

Mike was a rarity in the UK...a pilot and engineer.

When I know the funeral arrangements, I shall post them here.

Mike and George and Joe, Jim John and Flo in some of these pics from Clyde and earlier:

Not sure about some of the other connections.

A sad day

Mike allowed me to share his apartment in Glasgow back in 1990 when he was at Clyde Helis as an engineer. Yes a true gentleman who will be sadly missed.

That is sad news, I enjoyed working with Mike both at Bond and PDG.

Thank you for letting us know; I admire your taste in friends.

Mike, rest in peace, and my thanks for looking after me during my occasional forays around Scotlandshire with Bond as Redhead 12 and 14.
