Toys For Tots

Bell Helicopter folks at Amarillo assembled and donated 522 Bicycles to the Toys For Tots Program this Year.

What a great thing to do.....Well Done!

What a lovely idea! If they had the Bell name on them, it would be enough to make me wish I was 4 again.

Lovely gesture - but why not assemble 525 of them ?
Or has someone mis-counted?

You would think PR would have seen to that and added the Logo!

Toys for Tots tries to provide Christmas Gifts to Seven Million Children each Year.

The US Marine Corps is very much the heart of that program!

I wondered about that as well... and then I realized that it was Amarillo, not Fort Worth, and I had thought the 525 was assembled at Fort Worth and this thing was assembled at Amarillo.

Upon checking some further, the 525 it seems is indeed assembled at Amarillo and the V-22 (5-22) is put together in Dallas, or so it seems. Happy to be corrected.

Regardless, it's still a lovely gesture. I wonder if those Canadian fellows are slapping together 505?
