R22 SFH - Staffs/Shropshire

Hello everyone.

Anyone know of any R22's going for SFH in the area above for a low time PPL (50hrs) to do some CPL hour building with?

I passed my PPL at Staverton, but an hours drive each way means I need to take a whole day out practically, for an hours worth of flying!

Try Tiger Helicopters at Shobdon. They have several R22s available.

There is also Whizzard at Welshpool.

I use AA, mainly for R44 SFH.

They are friendly and look after me very well. They have 2 R22's (G-OASH, Beta and G-BYIE, Beta II) and one R44 (G-CHAP, Hydraulic Astro).

Availability for SFH is good, they are very flexible and the place has a nice club feel.

Enjoy,

I've only been using them since last July and have had no problems with them whatsoever during that period.

I'll have a read of the referenced thread and ask Alan when I see him next.

I reiterate though, I have had no problems with them over the last year.
