Helipaddy app
Does anyone have any experience of the usefulness of the 'Helipaddy' app - specifically for hotels, pubs & other non-airfield landing sites?
I am a PPL(H) in southern England looking at where I can fly to this coming summer.
Also, is the app software stable and are there regular site additions & updates?
Although £30 per year is not a lot in helicopter cost terms, it certainly is a lot for a smartphone app. Is it worth it for the average PPL(H)?

Updates and features
just checked my emails and I count 10 updates so far this year.
Not just new sites but new features too.
Other apps/websites may list landing sites but AFAIK Helipaddy is the only one where all the sites listed have been moderated and contain specific instruction and/or cautions.
Add to that the direct links to the site operator, Google Earth views of the landing sites and user comments on the site, quality of the lunch etc.
The £30 fee for the full functionality may only apply for your first subscription, just add another six sites to Helipaddy and you get the next year FOC.
Highly recommended.

Am I missing something, it seems to mainly show airfields and is a bit clunky, it's not easy to select the site you want without adding another. It's not in the same league as Skydemon.
Are there more landing sites in a hidden add on?
