HI guys! My father owns R44 Raven. It's time to change Magneto. In Russia parts are very expensive. We are trying to purchase from abroad. Any suggestios where from pls? Is it possible at all? I'm not a technical person at all, so would appreciate an answer in simple (not too much technical or slang) words

Assuming these are Slick magnetos you should be paying about $600 for a factory overhauled unit.
I wonder if aerospace equipment is currently subject to the trade embargo that the international community has emposed on Russia due to the Ukrainian issues. While i don't want to get into the politics of this but are your high costs due to measures needed to avoid the trade embargo ?
