Tilt Rotor (V-22) vs. Advancing Blade Concept (ABC)
A sales pitch for the Intermeshing configuration and ABC.
Back in 1993, Paul Cantrell wrote; "I know the ABC is currently shelved, but I hope that it will be started up again. I wonder whether intermeshing wouldn't work better - perhaps Sikorsky didn't want to have to deal with Kaman? I don't really know why they picked coaxial rather than intermeshing."
The eminent W.Z. Stepniewski, co-author of 'Rotary-Wing Aerodynamics', also, proposed the combining of ABC and Intermeshing http://www.unicopter.com/Stepniewski_Concept.html

I would love to have technical arguments
with others that have an interest in the ABC concept or the intermeshing configuration.
