Evening All,
As long as its ok with the mods, we have 75 of our 2015 HeliOps Calendars to give away to members here. Its easy to claim one. Just add onto this thread what you enjoy most about being involved in the helicopter industry - either civil or military.
Make your post then send me a PM with name or username and your postal address and will put a calendar in the mail for you. Just something to brighten up Xmas for you all.
Cheers.

For me flying a heli is a stress reliever, makes all my problems disappear, unlike driving in traffic these days. Once had a busty lady say she would show me her hardware if I took her for a ride but I had my wife along with me that day. That was one day flying actually caused stress, needless to say.

Lifting out of a confined area… the more confined the better. Imagining Dominic Santini sat behind me, just as he was in my child imagination in the 80s, when I first ‘learned’ to fly. Then realising that I’m actually doing this for real. Gives me an internal glow that I can’t quite explain.

Flying over children and having their arms erupt into furious waving after you give them a little wave. It's quite humbling to think that used to me down there looking up at every helicopter I saw/heard dreaming about one day flying one.

Hi,
different day, same position - totaly different view depending on weather, daylight, pollution.... and the freedom to move in three dimensions (well I do, there helicopter pilots around, who just move left and right, when they reach cruise altitude ;-))
Happy Christmas
