I can't read the write-up but the clean break of the mast immediately below the main rotor doesn't look good.

Army helicopter accident kills one - The Local

One man was killed in a helicopter accident during an army exercise in Tyrol in west Austria on Tuesday.

The other two crew members were badly injured, an army spokesman told APA press agency.

The two injured men were flown to hospital with rescue helicopters.

The accident happened around 1pm near Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol province. According to reports, the helicopter went down in the Tux Prealps.

It was not clear how the tragedy occurred. A flight accident commission began investigations on Tuesday afternoon.
APA - One dead, two injured in Austrian army helicopter crash

An Austrian Armed Forces helicopter crashed during a training exercise in the Tux Alps in the state of Tyrol on Tuesday afternoon, killing one occupant and leaving two others seriously injured, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The cause of the accident was as yet unknown, as was the height from which the helicopter descended, though initial reports from local media indicate the pilot was forced to make a hard landing.

The fatally injured man is a 33-year-old from the state of Lower Austria, with the two others, the 28-year-old female pilot and another 35-year-old male passenger were flown to a clinic in Innsbruck where they were operated on later in the afternoon.

The clinic later reported that neither were in a life-threatening condition.
Spokesperson for the military Pierre Kugelweis told the APA the state-of-the-art Bell OH-58 Kiowa helicopter was a complete write-off.

He said the Ministry of Defence has now set up an accident commission into the cause of the crash, and added he hoped preliminary details could be found by Wednesday afternoon.

It is all guesswork here…but one should look at the aircraft. 317shp engine, high altitude, and what does one get…? LTE would be my first shot.
