Ask your instructor.

Better to ask your instructor why you need to do a written exam. FCL.725(b)(3) states, "For single engine aircraft, the theoretical knowledge examination shall be conducted verbally by the examiner during the skill test...."

There are very few differences between an R22 and R44. The R22 is mechanically simpler as there is no hydraulic system. Everything else is almost identical to the R44 expect it is smaller.

Get hold of a copy of the manufactures flight manual , the questions are normally pulled from the limitations section of this manual.

Also a general read up of the manual , practice a weight and balance as well

Thanks folks I was just trying to get ahead of what was needed. I have a lesson booked tomorrow so I will ask.

I assumed it was exam papers. I will check.
