Has anyone came across c boxs that leak within the first 30 hours of flight? I have 8 brand new 412 EPs and 6 of them are seeping or leaking. When I picked them up from the factory they did not leak flew them home and within 10 hours six of tem were leaking? Does amyone have any ideas?

You haven't topped up the oil so that it is visible in the sight glass have you?

From memory, if you shake the tailboom and you can just see the oil sloshing in the very bottom of the sight glass, then you're good. Any more than that will vent out.

Are you seeing leaks, or just oil misting all over the inside of the cowling?

Open the filler cap and smack a flat palm against the opening then check the oil. Don't know how many times I have seen them overfilled and then venting.
