Exclamation AS350B3 and Kamov 32 pilot

Hi everyone,

I'm a portuguese helicopter pilot with a Frozen ATPL(H), 958:00 TT, ME with MCC and IR.
I'm current on AS350B3 and KA32.
English and Spanish speeking.
Experience: cargo sling operations, fire-fighting operations, SAR mountain and sea, police operations and civil protection operations.
I am looking for freelance or contract work.
Also, I would like to know if anyone can advise me about where to find ferry flight jobs (AS350) in Europe, Russia and Africa.
I have no restrictions regarding working time or places.
If anyone can advise me I will appreciate a lot.
Please send PM.
Thanks!

Hi Gapito, did you try with Inaer Spain?, they have B3 and KA-32. I know they are looking for B3 pilots.

Regards.

Hi apb,

Thanks for the tip but I already thought about that! I have only 950:00 TT with 240:00 PIC. Their minimum requirements are 1000TT and 300:00 PIC.
I am close but not there still!
Rgds

You might be in with a chance with that job.

Surely the employer / insurance company take into account the quality of experience that you have rather than just the hours. You sound like you have a lot to offer compared to someone who has say 1000hrs of mainly offshore transit flying.

Caveat: I have no experience in this at all! Might be worth asking though!

Thanks switch_on_lofty, I've already tried it. They say the client won't allow any waivers... whatever that means! 4 fire-fighting seasons as copilot on the KA32; 1 FF season as PIC on the AS350B3 (with 180:00 flown mostly in mountain areas), SAR land/sea, HEMS, cargo ops, etc, etc... They can take a pilot without AS350 experience and with almost no registers at FF but they cannot accept anyone below 1000TT / 300PIC.
As you've said, anyone would think they take into account past experience (real proved experience!)... apparently, they don't!

Good morning,

To work in firefighting missions in Spain is mandatory to have a minimum of 300H PIC time. The same with cargo, agricultural,...
