How to mind the knee jerk?

There does seem to be some pretty sensible conversations taking place on the back of the Glasgow accident, or at least if this is representative:-

Helicopter's safe insists MP Brian Donohoe - Daily Record

Whilst a formal AAIB report will take time how might the various parties best plan to avoid the situation that arose with the 225 should it turn out to be a mechanical issue with the 135?

That process is lovely and at some point there will be some actual facts around the cause, be it a mechanical issue or a human one and then what?

If you take the North Sea examples where you have - it would seem - mechanical issue with the 225's in 2012 and then human factors with the more recent accident.

I suppose it is easier to explain an accident off the back of human factors because the public can understand human errors. However if its a mechanical issue it seems that the 225 solution was heavily reliant upon systems that are not stock in the 135 model. So what then?
