CHC S92 order

CHC have signed a deal with Sikorsky for up to 24 S92 aircraft.

The order is for 9 confirmed helicopters and 15 options.

The first 5 firm ordered aircraft will be delivered in 2015, with 4 beingdelivered in 2016. The balance on the options if executed will be deliveredbetween 2015 and 2018. The aircraft will be configured for O&G with the option for SAR configured aircraft also.

Great news, that will be a few more flying in Aberdeen. Not saying it's a perfect aircraft but it's not bad! The queue of taxing s92 is going to get longer.

Well, Sultan,
if you look at my locations, and the content of my (not many) posts, you might easily infer that I do not work for Sikorsky...

... but this does not mean that I think that what does not belong to my friends is necessary a lemon...
