With the cut in the US Army's budget lately.....The Army has resorted to testing new concepts for Aerial gunnery support mission.

Some may not know, but the 58 shown was developed as part of the Iran hostage rescue. 130 would deliver it and the 20mm would take care of interference. A satchel charge would leave nothing left as the strike force flew out with the rescued.

Too bad the 53's screwed the whole operation.

I did not know that. Thanks for filling in the backstory. Talking of interference, the vibrations in the cockpit must have been something to behold.
