Cool Bell UH-1/204/205

Fellow Rotorheads.

My name is Erik, and I live in Northern Sweden.
Helicopters have been my life ever since I was a kid, and I have been fortunate enough to be able to work in the industry during periods of my life.
I'm 29 y.o and Currently I'm at about' eighty hours In the old Schweizer 300C.
My ambition is of course to find the funds to make it through ATPL/CPL.

Now that you know a bit about me, we can move on to the topic:
My love for the Huey..

Ever Since I first laid my eyes on the "lady" back in the toddler days, I haven't been able to get her out of my head. But why? Stubby nose, a bit tail heavy, rivets showing like fine lines on a weathered face..
...Beauty.. that's why. Not that Bell 222 or A109 sexyness, but a rather rough and proud beauty.. With a friendly and kind face.. The thumpin' of her rotor at idle seem so safe and familiar..like a mothers heartbeat...An Icon...soon to be doomed when the new "sleekfastflybywireultraefficientcompositemodern" helicopter will throw the old Queens off their throne.. Nostalgia? Maybe, but there's no "soul" anymore..
I don't care much for EFIS and FADEC and other modern systems, and I would rather fly a Lama or alouette III than the AS350B3+ or EC155. It's the same thing with cars, electronics and furniture etc.. The new stuff have no caracter and no "soul"..

I guess I should have been born 30 years earlier...

Or Is there a way???

I did get some stick-time on the Bell 204 a few years back, and Jesus...Lord..or whatever your name might be: Help me to get more!!!!!

I would be the happiest person in the world if someone could help me get in touch with Huey operators (private or commercial) that would be willing to give up the Co-Pilot seat to a humble Swede, in persuite of his one true passion. I rather fly the huey 5 hours/year as a PPL and love every minute, than spending the rest of my life flying Comercially in a "video-game" cockpit with no chance of reaching my goal.. Therefore I'm also interested in other variants of how to get there.. For example paying for a type-rating and a batch of hours on a 204 somewhere..

Sincerely
Erik
