Wow did not realize that the chinook was still developed ... Isn't it a somewhat dated design ?!

It's hard to argue with a proven product that moves lots of stuff well.

The C-130 is also a "dated" design but is alive and well in air forces all over the world.

One of the most 'ageless' aircraft in terms of design, IMHO.
