Jar Atpl (h)

Is anyone out there that has been issued a ATPL (H) on basis of JAR-FCL 2.285.

" The holder of CPL (H) and IR (H) satisfies the knowledge requirementsfor the issue of an ATPL (H)".

I have been told by 2 Danish examiners that since my IR rating is current then I fulfill the knowledge requirements for ATPL theory and will be able to be issued ATPL when I have 300 hrs multi pilot (can be vaivered!) Unfortunately is my licence issued by another country and they do not see it this way.

Do you or do you know anyone in the same situation. I have lots of single pilot multi engine helo experience but I´m to old to go to ground school to get that damn ATPL theory.
