Quintana McDonald ex pat mustering jocks.

Never rains except for when it pours it seems. This article details two separate accidents about people many mustering pilots will remember from the Kimberley right across and past the Gulf country Queensland. The late John Quintana and an injured Zandra McDonald in a separate accident.

A great tribute was paid to Johnny Q a basque American, by long time fiend Jimmy Dix. John used to say often that aeroplanes were much safer than motor cars. John shot to fame in 1971 as the first person to ride the top rodeo bull V61 and was World Champ Bull rider for a time.
He forced landed his personal C210 not long after T/O, we hear and found a deep ditch in the landing, totally destroyed the aeroplane, but no fire. John was highly experienced in F/W's Second article here.

The McDonald Family, the largest family beef operation in OZ operate around five mustering machines.
