Pan African Airlines
Is HD the "No P" 412 that came from Air Log/Cyrus that spent so much time in the hangar AFTER having a 1200 hour Inspection done in Accra by two Air Log Mechanics?

Last year, for reasons known to only a few high level players, and understood by fewer I reckon, Bristow Nigeria was split into 3 companies (not that you'd ever know it by all accounts), Pan African Airlines Nigeria, Bristow Helicopters Nigeria and Bristow Aircraft Technical Services (or some such ..... ). Supposedly all the maintenance for both companies is now done by BATS (though using all the same players as before, rebadged), Bristow is now an Afro-American company and PAAN is a totally Nigerian company because Bristow USA sold all its shares to the Nigerian directors. It's obvious this is true because as far as I can see, the Managing Director is an ex-Bristow Scot, The Director of Operations is a South African and his deputy is an ex Air Log American with the head of Maintenance a Brit and his deputy an American - obviously a totally Nigerian company .

As you probably know, there are numerous African countries (especially those around the edges of the equator) that observe an unofficial law which dictates that when any foreign organisation begins generating revenues above a certain amount, that organisation or company must be bought into (or bought out) by the government or by friends and/or family connected to those in government.
Any other way and it just wouldn't be Africa!

Funny that the topic of PAAN should come up and then
so soon after the poor soul flying the Citation cuts the corner
taxiing at the NAF base and drops a wheel off the edge...
apparently with all the Big Oggahs on board, no less.....
