Queensland Floods 2013
SIgnificant work of rescue helicopters in Queensland being reported.
One report of 1000 (??) people airlifted across a river at Bundeberg another of a crew returning to base saw a person waving his arms so he did an orbit and 98 people came out of the woodwork, resulting in 15 chopers being cordinated to rescue them before last light.
Excellent rescue diver gopro helmet footage here

Much better government and interagency co-ordination apparently due to experience gained in the last few years of cyclones and floods.
God work

better result
A better result by far with room for improvement.
One teabag ( down the wire guy ) started his new job and on the first day managed his first and 50th rescue.
Well done to all civil and defence.
