RAF/RN Navex routes in Exmoor/N.Devon

Dear all,

I am researching for my website (Welcome to Aircraft-Pictures.com: Aircraft-Pictures.com), routes that are used frequently by aircrew flying around Devon/ Exmoor on low level navex flights.

I am aware of the following routes being used but wondered if anyone can give me further details for either these locations or any that you can recommend for some decent photo opportunities.

1. Wimberball Lake - seen a couple of Sea King images online that look pretty impressive
2. Road/River Valleys SE of Dunkery Beacon (particularly used for Fighter Evasion) Are there any valleys in particular (that may defeat the object of "evasion"!?
3. Cheriton Valley - Aware of Sea King hitting cables a few years back and being underslung by a wokka back to base

Also, if any aircrew currently active fancy having their photo snapped at low level then please get in touch. I frequent the HLS at Avonmouth Docks and regualry take photos along the Wye Valley, the range at Lilstock and Exmoor

Thanks in advance
Alex
